Chesapeake Search Partners has partnered with an established and growing furniture solutions company that is looking for an Office Coordinator to support both front desk operations and project / order management. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys helping others, and ensures smooth day-to-day office operations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Greet and assist visitors, manage the reception area, and provide excellent customer service to clients, guests, and employees.
- Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and messages promptly and professionally.
- Process, track, and close project orders accurately, including logging status, coordinating shipping / delivery, and supporting invoicing.
- Communicate with clients, internal staff, and vendors / manufacturers to resolve order issues and ensure timely delivery.
- Support administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, maintaining office supplies, and preparing documentation for proposals, orders, and deliveries.
- Maintain organized records, track project status, and ensure proper closeout of files according to company standards.
Qualifications :
Previous experience in receptionist, office assistant, or customer service roles is preferred.Ability to work onsite 5 days week.Detail-oriented, proactive, and highly communicative.Comfortable managing both front desk responsibilities and operational / project tasks.Ability to multi-task and work well with others.Proficient in Microsoft Office.
