Overview

Daiquiri Deck is seeking a skilled HVAC-R Technician to join our team. As an HVAC-R Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the comfort and safety of our guests by maintaining heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. This position requires 1-3 years of experience specifically in refrigeration, along with a strong commitment to quality and customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC and refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
  • Diagnose malfunctions and troubleshoot equipment to identify and resolve issues promptly.
  • Conduct regular inspections to assess the condition of HVAC and refrigeration systems and recommend necessary repairs or replacements.
  • Install new HVAC and refrigeration equipment according to specifications and safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment status, and service reports.
  • Collaborate with other team members to coordinate maintenance schedules and prioritize tasks to minimize disruptions to restaurant operations.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience working with refrigeration systems in a commercial setting.
  • EPA certification required.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
