Supply Chain Manager
At TelCom Construction, as a Supply Chain Manager, you'll provide management, communication, direction, and leadership to local warehouse / inventory coordinators and the rest of the organization, facilitating sound business decisions regarding the company's materials inventory procurement, organization, and use throughout the company's geographic footprint. It offers expertise in material logistics, procurement, management, program development, policy and procedure development and communication, inventory control, and coordination.

What you'll do :
Creates and executes supply procurement and management plans that maximize availability, cost effectiveness, and contract requirement compliance of materials for all company locationsDevelops policies and procedures for handling and movement of materials within each warehouse / yard location in compliance with all SOX and other compliance requirementsAnalyzes and researches material margins and discrepancies to ensure material reporting is accurate to support the overall profitability of each projectCommunicates with individuals at all levels of the organization to achieve compliance with material tracking processes and proceduresDevelops and implements quarterly count processes and adjusts them as necessary to ensure complete and accurate inventory level reportingResolves problems concerning transportation, logistics systems or customer issuesInterviews, selects, and trains inventory department personnel as required by locationManages the activities of inventory personnel and yard workers on an ongoing basisPlans, develops, and implements warehouse safety and security programs and activitiesIdentifies, defines, and monitors performance-related KPI metrics and holds department personnel accountable to achieving departmental standardsTrains new employees in all aspects of the job including but not limited to material tracking and documentation as well as job-specific operation of utilized equipmentManages shipping instructions and provides routing information to ensure that delivery times and locations are coordinatedManages inventory levels and assists with obsolete stock issuesOther duties as assignedWhat you'll need :
To be 18 years of age or olderAuthorization to work in the United States for this companyBachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Financial Accounting or other related field and 5 years of Supply Chain Management experience; or combination of education and experience is required. Previous experience in a SOX compliant role strongly preferredStrong negotiator and consensus builderProven leadership in a cross functional team environmentProficient word processing, spreadsheet, database, internet and cloud-based computer skills are required. Working knowledge of Google suite of applications strongly preferredAbility to apply project management concepts, and methodologiesGeneral understanding of Business Financial and / or Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Ability to work independently on assigned tasks with minimum guidanceAbility to safely operate forklift, telehandler, and skid steer equipmentAbility to travel throughout the company footprint as requiredPhysical abilities & exposures :
