This position will focus heavily on the accounts receivable and revenue recognition side of the business —a particularly complex and critical area in our sector. Additionally, this role offers the opportunity to engage in financial reporting for our private equity partners , as well as participate in due diligence activities ahead of a potential equity event.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage complex accounting areas , including revenue recognition, accounts receivable, goodwill, and discontinued operations
- Lead the preparation and review of internal and external financial statements , ensuring compliance with US GAAP and internal policies
- Drive monthly close activities , including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Prepare and submit debt covenant reporting and compliance certificates to private equity stakeholders
- Review and analyze contracts for accounting and compliance implications
- Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, operations, legal, and external auditors
- Support due diligence efforts related to acquisitions or equity transactions
- Identify opportunities to strengthen internal controls and streamline reporting processes
- Assist with the upcoming audit and financial reporting requirements related to strategic growth events
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA strongly preferred)5+ years of progressive accounting / financial reporting experience, ideally in healthcare or a complex multi-entity environmentStrong knowledge of GAAP, revenue recognition (ASC 606), goodwill impairment, and discontinued operationsExperience working in PE-backed organizations and preparing reports for lenders or equity stakeholders a strong plusProficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skillsStrong attention to detail with the ability to manage competing deadlinesSelf-starter with a process-improvement mindset and a strong sense of ownership
