Responsibilities
- As the Launch Manager, lead the execution of bringing new and existing live sports events to Prime Video for both 1P and third-party content, delivering a broad live sports selection for fans.
- Oversee onboarding activities from deal signing to first live broadcast, and maintain steady-state operations post-launch to ensure high quality and availability.
- Collaborate with content acquisition and marketing to develop roadmaps for expanding live sports coverage.
- Plan, coordinate, and track cross-functional work streams across product, technology, merchandising, and operations to launch new sports events.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, Production, and Marketing to define how live and on-demand content will be presented to customers.
- Work cross-functionally with content acquisition, product management, engineering, merchandising, and operations to document initiatives and drive them through execution to launch sports events.
- Coordinate with sports media partners and 3P content aggregators to build Digital Content Supply Chains and improve publishing processes for sports content.
- Establish goals, plans, and metrics; manage initiatives and track progress to achieve quality improvements and operational efficiency gains.
- Create reporting and dashboards for key metrics to illustrate progress and support management updates on a weekly / monthly basis.
- Define and execute programs to bring new sports leagues to Prime Video and successfully launch live events, while working under time constraints and maintaining a customer-focused mindset.
Experience
Basic Qualifications
Experience and understanding of digital video streaming and / or digital video supply chain.Experience with managing projects for live broadcasting.Preferred Qualifications
Work experience within sports entertainment.Experience building and managing operational teams for online services.Ability to build positive long-term relationships with internal and external partners and influence them to deliver results.Confident leader who can prioritize well and communicate clearly across all levels of the organization.Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, make tradeoffs, and evaluate new ideas with technical teams.Experience with writing functional requirements to create new tools or refine processes / policies.Passionate about understanding customers and their behavior to drive feature development.Ability to deliver results and prioritize tasks in a fast-moving, dynamic environment.Experience managing, analyzing, and communicating relevant results to senior leadership.Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, design, and marketing / business counterparts to deliver online products / services.Note : We have partnered with ProductionHUB to provide you with additional resources in the industry.
