Company in Hayward, CA is in need of an onsite Purchasing Administrative Assistant. Must be proficient in Excel.
Hours : M-F 8 : 30am-5pm
Payrate : $21-23 base on experience
Duties :
- Data Entry of purchasing information into excel spreadsheets
- Maintaining and entering purchase orders and follow-up with POS.
- Maintaining and compiling purchasing reports.
- Following up with vendor invoices, purchase order timelines, and delays with vendors.
- Request raw materials samples, packaging samples, and pricing from various vendors.
Requirements :
Proficient in data entry.Familiar with the process of creating and managing purchase orders and database.Manage email correspondence effectively and professionallyHandle both inbound and outbound callsSkilled in Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and WordScheduling appointments and organizing calendars efficientlyAbility to perform administrative tasks with minimal supervisionExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality of sensitive informationHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredPrior experience in an administrative role (1 Year or up)Project (12 week) - Temp to hire Possibility
