Regional Field Consultant
The Regional Field Consultant's role is to lead the sales relationship management effort with an assigned portfolio of Associate-category agencies in order to create maximum value for agency owners and maximum revenue for Travel Leaders Network.
According to the business model, needs and potential of each individual Associate within a territory, the Regional Field Consultant will lead collaboration with internal and external partners to constantly grow each agency's value to Travel Leaders Network with emphasis in six key areas :
- Preferred Supplier Sales and Overrides
- Hotel Program Sales
- Air Program Sales and Administration Fees
- GDS Segment Fees
- Territory Franchise License Fees
- National, Local and Magazine / Marketing Fees
- Engagement in Travel Leaders / Internova Programs and Events
Regional Field Consultant success is measured by the improvement in the year-over-year dollar value of the aggregate territory to Travel Leaders Network as measured by the above key areas. Expected activities to achieve success include, but are not limited to :
Analysis and assessment of each individual agency's business in order to maximize agency utilization of relevant Travel Leaders Network programs, products, tools and services.Development of annual individual agency marketing / business plans and owner progress reporting.Innovation of proactive strategies to engage and inform frontline agency staff in order to measurably increase preferred supplier sales and market share.Creation of consistent, relevant and personalized owner / manager communications.Planning of efficient on-site agency visits with targeted agency owners and staff throughout the year.Delivery of valuable business solutions and superior customer service that distinguishes Travel Leaders Network from other agency affiliation options.Development of abundant annual opportunities for owner networking, travel, and peer-to-peer social events in order to create strong emotional connection with Travel Leaders Network.Championing agency and agent success in order to foster increased travel industry advocacy of Travel Leaders Network.Serving as the "eyes and ears" of Travel Leaders Network by regular, in-depth reporting of field observations and experiences, issues, trends or supplier / competitor activity to Travel Leaders Network management.Actively monitoring and reporting the key financial health metrics of the agency portfolio.Envisioning new revenue opportunities and sharing better or new methods of increasing value to agencies and Travel Leaders Network.Participation in various surveys, task forces, projects, as requested by Travel Leaders Network management.Other duties as assignedQualifications include :
