Advanced Mp&L Analyst
The Advanced MP&L Analyst is responsible for supporting global divisions in meeting MP&L deliverables for new product launches, ensuring compliance with standards and guidelines, and driving analytics-based decision-making to optimize inventory and material flow. This role also supports Factory of the Future (FoF) initiatives, leveraging automation and advanced technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
- Support divisions with MP&L PDP deliverables, including PFEP (Plan for Every Part), material flow design, ERP configuration, warehouse setup, and pre-production builds.
- Conduct Launch Readiness Audits to ensure compliance with MP&L standards.
- Provide group-level sign-off on Class 2 & 3 programs; support Sr. Manager - Advanced MP&L for Class 1 high-risk programs.
- Support development and deployment of MP&L standards, PDP work packages, and launch readiness tools.
- Assist in planning and organizing best practice workshops.
- Collaborate with packaging community on packaging standards, database management, reuse programs, and repair initiatives.
- Manage and maintain Exteriors MP&L MAGNET site.
- Analyze inventory DOH and value trends; develop statistical models and AI tools to forecast optimal global inventory levels for raw materials and WIP.
- Extract and analyze data from ERP systems and corporate platforms (e.g., OneStream, GSD) to identify trends in demand forecasting, transportation costs, and MOH reduction opportunities.
- Generate and maintain Exteriors MP&L dashboard; provide actionable insights and reports for corporate and divisional teams.
- Support the implementation of material conveyance and optimization strategies for new launches, integrating FoF requirements into MP&L processes and PDP deliverables.
- Support deployment of Smart Pick systems, AMR / AGV strategies, warehouse automation, truck / carrier utilization improvements, and automated production scheduling.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing / Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.Knowledge of and experience with lean manufacturing and MP&L processes and concepts including Plan for Every Part (PFEP), inventory management, demand forecasting, material conveyance and storage, transportation, and warehouse operations.Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Business Intelligence software (e.g., Power BI).Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, assess risk and root cause, and implement improvements.Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.Strong leadership capabilities.Minimum 5 years of experience in MP&L or related functions in a manufacturing environment.APICS CPIM or CSCPLean Six Sigma Green Belt or higherData Analytics Certifications (e.g., SQL, Python for Data Analysis, Power BI)Automation / Industry 4.0 Certifications (e.g., AMR / AGV systems, IoT in manufacturing)Physical Demands / Work Environment - Normal amount of sitting or standing, average mobility to move around an office and / or manufacturing environment, able to conduct normal amount of work at a computer, may require local, domestic, and international travel.
