PRN - Shifts are normally scheduled between 0645 - 1915 and 1845- 0715.
ON-CALL The employee shall provide on-call coverage for one shift, every 12 weeks rotating
Job Qualifications
- RNs must have an Associates or Bachelors degree (preferred) from an ACEN or CCNE accredited Nursing program
- RN shall have a full and unrestricted license in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia
- must possess the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively apply all aspects of the nursing process within a collaborative, interdisciplinary practice setting.
- A minimum of eighteen (18) months of full-time experience as an RN working in a PICU within the last twenty-four (24) months.
- Possess and maintain BLS (Basic Life Support) (American Heart Association)
- Possess and maintain ACLS certification (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- Possess and maintain PALS certification (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- Possess and maintain NRP certification (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- Possess and maintain S.T.A.B.L.E. certification (Sugar, Temperature, Blood Pressure, Labs and Emotional Support)
