SSOE is seeking a Structural Engineering Co-op for Summer 2026. This is an onsite position, and we are open to candidates located in either our Brentwood, TN or Birmingham, AL office. The role requires daily in-person attendance at one of these locations, and remote or hybrid work is not available .

AI and Innovation

Responsibilities

The following duties are typical of the position, but are not all encompassing. Each person is expected to help out in whatever duties are required to deliver a quality product on schedule and within budget in a team environment.

Performs assigned tasks under close supervision of Department Manager or designee. Receives specific and detailed instruction.

• Basic computer, Revit or AutoCAD skills a plus.
• Learns and uses department standards, methods, and procedures respective to field of study.
• Meets various deadlines on daily duties or special projects as assigned by DM or designee.
• Occasional local travel may required for client visits.
• Valid driver's license required. May be waived for international assignments.
