A fast-growing plaintiff personal injury law firm with offices across New York City is seeking a skilled Litigation Paralegal to join its dynamic team. The firm handles a wide range of personal injury cases and offers a collaborative environment with opportunities for professional growth.
Position Overview :
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting attorneys throughout the litigation process in personal injury matters—from intake through trial preparation. You will play a key role in case management, client communication, discovery, and trial organization.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist attorneys with all phases of personal injury litigation, including drafting pleadings, discovery responses, and motions
- Prepare and file legal documents in state and federal courts (via NYSCEF and ECF)
- Manage case files, calendars, and deadlines
- Communicate with clients, medical providers, experts, and court personnel
- Organize and summarize medical records, deposition transcripts, and other case materials
- Support trial preparation, including exhibit lists, witness preparation, and trial binders
Qualifications :
2+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal in personal injury law (plaintiff-side preferred)Strong knowledge of New York court filing procedures (NYSCEF, ECF)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsHighly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple casesProficient in case management software and Microsoft Office SuiteBenefits & Compensation :
