Responsibilities
Position Summary :
Under the general guidance of the Program Manager and Physical Therapy Clinical Advisor and supervision of an RPT administers and progresses patient treatment according to an established plan;
participates in discharge planning. Demonstrates exceptional time management skills in performing all assigned tasks. Demonstrates sound judgment in clinical decision making.
Assists in training and orienting new staff (advanced PTA only).
Qualifications
Requirements :
- Minimum one year experience as a PTA working in a clinical setting with adult population.
- Associate of Arts degree from an APTA accredited PTA program or successful challenge of APTA Board examination.
- Current PTA license or eligible for same
- Current BLS.
