Responsibilities for Mechanical Engineer :
- Conduct HVAC load calculations and make equipment selections for heating and cooling systems in commercial buildings.
- Design air distribution and hydronic systems for HVAC setups.
- Research and adhere to local, state, and federal mechanical and energy codes and standards.
- Generate mechanical specifications for HVAC systems and designs.
- Maintain effective communication with project managers, project engineers, and field foremen during the design phase.
Qualifications for Mechanical Engineer :
- Proficient in CAD and Revit standards for creating mechanical documents.
- Experience ranging from recent graduates to individuals with 5 or more years of demonstrated experience in mechanical design for the building and construction industry.
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
- AutoCAD proficiency, preferably with Rivet.
- P.E. License; EIT will be considered if on track to obtain a Professional License.
