We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee the financial operations. As the Accounting Manager, you will assist the Director of Finance managing the accounting function, ensuring compliance with regulatory and audit requirements, and delivering timely, accurate financial reporting.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of accounting operations, revenue recognition, internal controls, and financial analysis, while also playing a critical role in implementing best practices and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage efficient accounting and control processes for the local entity while influencing and aligning with global financial policies.
• Document, implement, and communicate financial policies, including user education and compliance monitoring.
• Lead quarterly close activities including fixed asset reporting and bank reconciliations, payroll verification and accruals.
• Oversee timely and accurate dissemination of financial reports, including monthly internal and external financial statements, variance analysis, and management reporting.
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including AP, general ledger, and bookkeeping functions.
• Maintain and enforce robust internal controls to ensure accuracy, compliance, and risk mitigation.
• Support the internal and external audit processes and ensure compliance with SOX and other regulatory requirements.
• Understand local, state, and federal tax and treasury requirements, and support the transfer of related operations from HQ to local business units.
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax obligations.
• Apply and uphold proper revenue recognition policies and procedures in line with accounting standards and company policies.
