Uarc Executive Assistant
The purpose of this position is to serve as the UARC Executive Assistant for the Research Institute for Tactical Autonomy (RITA), University Affiliated Research Center (UARC).
Typically, responsible for performing some non-supervisory duties in addition to supervisory responsibilities.
Serve as the UARC Executive Assistant for the Research Institute for Tactical Autonomy (RITA), Internal contacts include executives, administrators, faculty, staff, and students of the departments and the University at large with special emphasis on the HR, Finance, Office of Research, and The Office of The CFO. External contacts include representatives from the federal government, other colleges and universities, professional associations, consultants, vendors, and the general public.
Principal responsibilities include :
- Providing executive-level assistance for the RITA consortium and providing a variety of administrative support to a complex, highly classified project or multiple highly classified projects.
- Working closely with Executive Management. Protecting and compiling technical, financial, and other project data using various database programs for inclusion in reports or presentation materials.
- Maintaining tactical responsibility for tracking project financials.
- Participating in special projects as required.
- Making appointments, travel arrangements, and meeting arrangements and coordinating activities between executive management, customers, and outside parties.
- May provide work leadership for lower-level employees.
- Providing administrative assistance, such as writing and editing e-mails, drafting memos, and preparing communications on behalf of the Executive Director.
- Maintaining comprehensive and accurate records.
- Performing minor accounting duties.
- Organizing meetings, including scheduling, sending reminders, and organizing catering when necessary.
- Welcoming visitors and identifying the purpose of their visit before directing them to the appropriate department.
- Managing the executive's calendar, including making appointments and prioritizing the most sensitive matters.

A bachelor's degree (foreign equivalent or higher) is required with at least 2 years of administrative experience or 7-year equivalent work experience after high school.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, and social media web platforms.Special note : Resume / CV and cover letter should be included with the online application. Compliance Salary Range Disclosure Expected Pay Range : $62,188 - $68,407
