As a patient, long-term investor-operator, it aims to build significant enterprise value through both organic growth and acquisition.

With a focus on building a company rooted in long-term success in an ever-changing and hyper-competitive industry, we are growing our team with excitement about the future and grounded in how to get there. Challenges and opportunities exist at every level, alongside truly incredible upside. Convive employees embody confidence in navigating change, building and leading growing teams, and supporting strategic execution in the hospitality space.

Location : Los Angeles based with 20% travel to the East Coast

Compensation : $100,000 - $120,000

We're looking for a Strategic People Partner to help us grow stronger teams, future leaders, and an organization where people love to work. In this role, you'll partner directly with the Regional Director of Operations and their teams in order to anticipate talent needs, strengthen leadership capability, and build a culture that prevents issues before they start. You'll focus on developing people, not just managing problems, using talent planning, coaching, and succession strategies to drive performance and engagement. You'll bring curiosity, business acumen, and a people-first mindset to help shape the organization of the future.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with leaders to align people plans with business goals.
  • Identify and develop top talent through intentional coaching and succession planning.
  • Create intentional plans to reduce turnover and future-proof the organization.
  • Use data and insights to connect business outcomes to people strategies across recruiting, compensation & benefits, learning & development, and performance management.
  • Proactively address culture and performance trends before they escalate.
  • Anticipate and identify emerging culture or engagement challenges; implement proactive interventions before they escalate.
  • Lead performance management and compensation review cycles with a focus on fairness, transparency, and growth.
  • Partner with managers to calibrate performance expectations and recognize strong contributions.
  • Manage key people processes and ensure consistency across locations.
  • Contribute to key People team projects and process improvements as the business scales.

What You'll Bring

  • Presence in-restaurants required at least 3x per week.
  • 3-5+ years of HR or HRBP experience within restaurant, hospitality or retail environments.
  • Strong communications / navigation skills at all levels of an organization inclusive of executives and entry level employees.
  • Strong background in talent development, workforce planning, and leadership coaching.
  • A proactive, people-centered mindset; you solve for root causes, not just symptoms.
  • Ability to build trust, influence decisions, and communicate with clarity.
  • You'll join a People team that believes in growing our business by growing our people. We value curiosity, collaboration, and a genuine commitment to helping our teams thrive.
