Social Services Inspector Contractor
This position is located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Social Services Inspector III (Contractor to Full Time GALT Position) Pay Rate : $23.
25 per hour Travel is EXTENSIVE Must drive personal vehicles for all work-related duties, must possess a valid driver's license and must maintain required car insurance coverage 25 / 50 / 25.
This position is a temporary contract position with the potential opportunity of transitioning to a permanent state, full time employment role.
Basic purpose Positions in this job family are assigned responsibility for conducting internal and external audits and field investigations and performing federally or state mandated quality control audits to evaluate the effectiveness of agency programs.
Some positions will perform follow-up reviews and advocate for clients and program changes. Duties include investigating welfare fraud and employee violations of agency policy, regulations and applicable state and federal laws.
Some positions in this job family will conduct investigations and inquiries to protect the rights of clients, act as client advocate and file grievances on behalf of clients.
Job responsibilities The Social Service Inspector III investigates complaints of abuse, neglect, and exploitation of persons 18 years of age and older residing in long-term care facilities in the State of Oklahoma including more difficult cases which can be high profile and provides service planning.
The SSI III also serves as a mentor & coach for new Social Service Specialists staff & assists them in completing training exercises.
The SSI III will prepare case reports and submit them to the DA. Ability to work on a diverse team and directly with people from diverse backgrounds specifically racial, ethnic, socioeconomic, and disabilities.
Minimum Qualifications Requirements at this level consist of a bachelor’s degree and four years of professional experience in investigation, auditing, social work, juvenile justice, personnel administration, law enforcement or child support enforcement, working with persons with intellectual disabilities, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
