MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :

A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and three (3) years of professional experience in systems analysis, management analysis, program planning, program research, program evaluation, engineering or administrative work.

A master's degree from an accredited college or university can substitute for one (1) year of the required experience.

Professional or nonprofessional experience as described above can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education.

Requires possession of a valid Class E driver license.

The incumbent of this position is considered to have regulatory responsibilities and is subject to the provisions of Chapter 60L-36, F.A.C.

JOB DUTIES :

This position facilitates the division's rulemaking processes, which requires an overall knowledge of the division's program areas. Identifies potential problems and recommends appropriate actions by providing direction and guidance to program supervisors to resolve issues with and / or recommendations to current rules. Tracks, monitors and implements required statutory changes to rules in a timely manner. Responsible for ensuring division's publications are up-to-date and assist bureaus with updating as necessary. Serves as Forms Coordinator responsible for ensuring all division forms are updated according to current rule and submits revisions as required. Submits rulemaking packages and form revisions, as well as hearing, workshop, committee and rulemaking notices for publication in Florida Administrative Register and required notices for publication on the department's webpage in accordance with statutory requirements. Develops and maintains standard operating procedures for rulemaking and statutory revisions in order to maintain compliance with department regulations and policies. Maintains statute / rule folders on shared network to ensure division staff has immediate access to current law.

Serves as the Records Management Liaison Officer for the division; ensures compliance with the General Records Schedule and Individual Records Schedule; monitors all division records and works with bureaus to maintain a regular disposition schedule.

Serves as Floor Warden for the division office, assists with answering main phone line for the division.

Perform all functions in compliance with Chapters 388, 482, 487, 576, 578, and 580 F.S. and Rules 5E-1, 5E-2, 5E-3, 5E-4, 5E-9, 5E-13, and 5E-14, and in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Performs other related duties as required.
