California based plaintiff's side Employment Law Firm specializing in class actions and FEHA cases seeks highly motivated and skilled Associate attorney to join their team. As Associate Attorney you will be instrumental in shaping the early stages of cases to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients. This position offers the unique opportunity to contribute to the firm's success while working with a talented team of attorneys. This is an onsite position at the firm’s Los Angeles, CA office.
Responsibilities :
- Legal research and case investigations
- Prepare demand letters and engage in negotiations for settlements
- Maintain open and effective communication with clients, opposing parties, and insurance companies
- Draft necessary pleadings and motions
- Evaluate cases to provide clients with valuable legal advice
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve case objectives
Qualifications :
Must have an active California bar license in good standing and a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law schoolMust have a minimum of 3 years of experience practicing employment law, preferably in a law firm settingMust have in-depth knowledge of federal and California employment laws, regulations, and legal proceduresMust have outstanding negotiation and communication skillsMust have exceptional research and analytical abilitiesMust have strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skillsMust possess the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environmentMust employ a high level of professionalism and a strong commitment to client service, maintaining client confidentiality
