We are seeking an Electrical Engineer for our Cleveland R&D operations. This is an exciting opportunity to participate as an electrical engineer within the Industrial Electrics Group business unit as a design engineer to develop new and / or improve existing products.

REQUIREMENTS :
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering degree is required with ideally 3+ years of professional experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to stay organized while balancing multiple projects.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in design, testing and troubleshooting.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Work in R&D on the design, development and innovation of new products for the Industrial Electrics Business Unit.
- Serve as a hardware engineer for the development and / or modification of circuits, PCBs, magnetic components, and complete welding products.
- Work closely with software engineers to fulfill a product definition.
- Perform and supervise the testing of new designs, processes, warranty improvements and cost reductions.
- Coordinates the activities of technical support personnel and may lead cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with team colleagues, R&D, Manufacturing, Production, Supply, Quality and Service Departments to establish and achieve objectives.
- Engineer safe, high quality, cost effective, ergonomic, and environmentally responsible parts, subsystems and complete machines.
- Support Sales, Marketing, Service and customer issues as required.
- Be responsible for the design, specifications, documentation and compliance of each new product.
- Work with Supply Management to improve quality, manufacturability and value of our new products.
- Coordinate activities of technical support personnel as required.
- Assumes additional responsibilities as needed or directed in support of the Company’s 2025 Strategy.
