About the Role

Salesforce is seeking a Senior Workday Financials & Integrations Engineer (SMTS) to join our Digital Enterprise Technology (DET) organization. In this hybrid role, you will configure, develop, and test Workday functionalities and integrations to support our IT Finance systems. You will partner with business stakeholders, internal Workday teams, and external integrators to deliver high-quality Workday solutions across Procure-to-Pay and other Financials processes.

Responsibilities

• Workday Development & Configuration : Deliver Workday enhancements covering functional and technical aspects of Workday Financials.
• Lead design sessions with developers, product managers, analysts, and stakeholders.
• Implement complex Workday business processes, security, reports, and calculated fields.
• Integrations & Technical Leadership : Design, build, and maintain Workday integrations using Workday Studio, XSLT, and Web Services (SOAP / REST).
• Collaborate with third-party integrators and internal teams to implement solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentor junior engineers on Workday best practices.
• Testing & Quality Assurance : Build scalable test automation using tools such as Kainos.
• Create and execute test plans, track defects, and ensure quality meets stakeholder expectations.
• Lead activities for Workday release upgrades and change management processes.
