Traveling Construction Superintendent

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to join our team.

Job Summary : As a Commercial Construction Superintendent, you will play a critical role in overseeing and managing the successful execution of commercial construction projects.

You will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the construction process, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities :

• Project Management :
• Take ownership of multiple commercial construction projects from start to finish.
• Develop and execute project schedules, ensuring timely completion.
• Monitor project budgets and expenses, making adjustments as needed.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including owners, architects, subcontractors, and team members.
• Site Supervision :
• Oversee day-to-day site activities, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Manage and schedule subcontractors and vendors.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address any issues or concerns promptly.
• Quality Control :
• Ensure workmanship and materials meet or exceed project specifications.
• Implement and enforce quality control processes and procedures.
• Address and resolve any construction-related issues as they arise.
• Safety Management :
• Promote a culture of safety on the construction site.
• Enforce safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Conduct safety meetings and provide training as necessary.
• Documentation and Reporting :
• Maintain accurate project records, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders.
• Prepare and submit regular project status reports to senior management and clients.

Qualifications :

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Commercial Construction Superintendent.
• Proficiency in construction management software and MS Office Suite.
• Must be willing to travel
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction practices, codes, and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving abilities.
• OSHA 30-Hour Certification preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field is a plus.
