Director of Food Production
Reports to : Vice President of Food & Beverage

WHAT WE ARE HUNGRY FOR
As the Director of Food Production, you will be responsible
for ensuring the highest level of food quality, food safety and hygiene in all
cafes. In addition, you will develop strategic initiatives for the department
and will directly manage a team of regional District Production Managers. Our
ideal candidate will help to achieve our mission of bringing expertly crafted
baked and brewed goods to our guests by developing food production policies and
procedures on both a national and regional level.
KNOWLEDGE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Institute and oversee a strict program ensuring that food
safety, food quality, and hygiene standards of all finished products are always
maintained.
Provide direction and oversight to DPMs, bakers, cakers,
sandwich makers, and other producers of cafe-level food products.
Oversee inspection and training programs to ensure adherence
to state, local, and internal regulations for both food and beverage.
Develops and implements Food & Beverage programs
including but not limited to, budgeting, cost controls, profit performance,
food waste and loss, and quality control.
Define, develop, and implement systems to review food
production, in addition to operating costs to improve profits and labor
productivity while maintaining service and quality standards.
Update and coordinate implementation of standard operating
procedures (as well as overall objectives and strategies) for the department,
including the recipe manuals and F&B operations manuals.
Assist in the development and facilitate the implementation
of marketing and advertising strategies for Food & Beverage.
Assist Chief Operating Officer, VP of Food & Beverage, Chief
Supply Chain Officer, and Field
Partner with the Training and Development team to ensure
development of training programs are aligned with Food and Beverage Strategies.
Perform routine management tasks that are necessary for
efficient operation of a national Food & Beverage program.
Other duties may be assigned.
WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE
At least, 10-15 years of related experience or equivalent
combination of education and experience.

ability to effectively balance priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced,
