Job description
Passionate about backend architecture, the remote Software Developer II will design and develop backend software for processing real-time weather data, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance system reliability and scalability. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain backend software processors for real-time weather data Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to implement processing solutions for consumer and enterprise products Investigate and resolve software defects and operational incidents affecting weather data processing systems Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field 3+ years of experience designing and developing backend services Experience with Scala or Java and exposure to functional programming concepts Experience in cloud environments such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Experience with relational databases, including schema design and SQL
