Acquisition Logistics Manager
Tyto Athene is searching for an Acquisition Logistics Manager to support the SSC SZWC Space Electronic Warfare Operating Location (SEWOL) team. The SEWOL Program is an essential element of the USSF Space Superiority enterprise, providing incremental delivery of worldwide SEW C2 capabilities. SEW is the only Offensive Space Control capability in space operations today but requires continual enhancements to counter adversary's growing use of SATCOM. SSC's strategy enables flexibility to adapt to changes in adversary's capabilities and agility to respond to the needs of Operational Users with tactical units including Space Delta 3, 4th EWS (AD COS), 76th EWS (AD HI), 114th EWS (ANG FL), 138th EWS (ANG CO), 216th EWS (ANG CA), 293rd EWS (ANG HI). Responsibilities include :
- Providing advice, expertise and consultation in acquisition logistics management lifecycle activities
- Providing expert advice to the Materiel Leader / Program Manager and Senior USSF and Air Force Leadership regarding acquisition strategies, product support, logistics, contracting, budgeting and execution
- Providing oversight and facilitation of program management activities between operational stakeholders
- Ability to clearly and concisely advise and present information in person to stakeholders and Senior Military Leadership on program milestone decision and processes
- Providing a wide variety of acquisition / sustainment technical analyses
- Facilitating planning, programming, budgeting, and execution efforts
- Participating and contributing to the development and coordination of strategic acquisition planning and pre-award activities
- Leading development and coordination of solicitation planning and execution activities
- Managing and assisting in the development and coordination of overarching program planning and execution documents
- Drafting technical evaluations and functioning as an advisor in source selections
- Leading integrated scheduling and active risk management activities
- Preparing program scheduling activities, meetings, briefings, reports, and analyzing information in support of SEWOL developmental and sustainment programs
- Supporting operations training and technical documentation development
- Coordinating with operations and development stakeholders to facilitate identifying and designating SMEs
- Frequently coordinating with multiple military organizations
- Reviewing and providing input to enabling concepts and multi-agency agreements
- Adept at a variety of acquisition concepts, phases, and procedures
- Experience working on classified government systems and networks
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree, STEM preferredAt least 10 years experience in Program and / or Logistics Management (Government PM / Logistics time preferred) but preferably 15 or more years of DoD and related Space operations combined experience, specifically acquisition program management and / or operational experienceIn lieu of a Bachelor's degree and 10 years of relevant experience, a Master's plus 7.5 years of related experience or PhD plus 3 years of related experience is acceptable.Experience with Air Force and / or Space Force operations, command and control (C2), theater operations, space tasking cycle, and operator training, preferably with experience in the Electronic Warfare and / or Satellite Communications (SATCOM) mission areas.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skillsDemonstrated competency in technical writingFamiliarity operating under agile conditions as a member of a Scrum teamSuperior written and oral communication skills, including interpersonal and negotiation skillsFamiliar with MS Office productsExperience in working with multi-disciplinary teams of Military and technical managersDesired :

Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically between $120,000-$160,000.
