DYS Summer School Teacher

Summer Program Teachers Needed - All Subjects / Grades 7-12

Metro Region : Dorchester and Roslindale

Seeking experienced and aspiring teachers for our Summer School enrichment program serving court involved youth (DYS). Classes and programs are small, typically 10-12 students in a program and 5 students in a class, allowing for truly personalized and creative instruction in an alternative educational setting supported by behavioral staff in the classroom.

Summer School Schedule :

Dates : July 8 th and ends August 15 th - M-Th.

Typical Hours : 8 : 15-2 : 15 (6 hours onsite, with up to one additional hour of paid off site planning time)

Students typically attend : 8 : 30-2 : 00 (start time / end time may vary)

Qualifications :

Teaching License is preferred, but not required

Experience working with youth in an educational or therapeutic setting
