As the Senior Manager of Strategic Focus Club Marketing you will serve as a key role in Equinoxs localized marketing strategy driving measurable growth engagement and member retention across a portfolio of high-priority Clubs. You will take ownership of developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies tailored to each focus Clubs unique market dynamicsmaximizing lead generation member acquisition and overall brand impact.
In this business-critical role you will partner closely with the Senior Director of Local Marketing and cross-functional business leaders to shape go-to-market plans that elevate the Equinox brand within key markets. Your leadership will ensure that each strategic focus Club delivers a best-in-class experience that reflects both local relevance and brand excellence.
Business Insights
- Partner with the Business Insights teams to identify focus Clubs by building a data-driven scorecard based on key performance indicators.
- Diagnose business challenges such as retention attrition or awareness gaps and develop targeted results-oriented marketing plans to address them.
- Define and track key performance metrics to evaluate marketing effectiveness ensuring alignment with enterprise-wide growth and profitability goals.
- Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on local market trends competitive positioning and growth opportunities.
Market Research and Analysis
Lead in-depth market assessments to understand local consumer behavior competitive landscapes and emerging opportunities.Leverage data insights to refine audience segmentation enhance member experience strategies and optimize acquisition and retention campaigns.Translate analytics into actionable insights guiding creative development and media planning with precision and impact.Strategy and Planning
Design and oversee tailored multi-channel marketing plans aligned with the focus Clubs specific business objectives.Partner with the Creative team to drive the vision and messaging for local campaigns ensuring strategic consistency innovation and alignment.Evaluate and prioritize marketing initiatives based on ROI audience potential and long-term business impact.Cross-functional collaboration
Partner with Regional Vice Presidents Sales Directors and Club General Managers to align marketing priorities with business performance objectives .Collaborate with corporate marketing functionsincluding Growth Social PR and Influencer Marketingto execute fully integrated regional campaigns.Cultivate strong partnerships with community organizations local influencers and media outlets to enhance brand visibility and engagement.Budget management and reporting
Oversee and optimize local marketing budgets ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximum ROI.Analyze campaign results to identify trends measure impact and continuously improve marketing strategies.Provide executive-level reporting and insights to senior stakeholders demonstrating marketings direct contribution to business performance.Qualifications :
Bachelors or Masters degree in marketing business or related field.8-10 years of progressive marketing experience in growth brand or member engagement roles ideally within luxury hospitality or lifestyle industriesStrong analytical acumen with the ability to synthesize data into actionable business recommendations.Exceptional leadership communication and stakeholder management skills.Creative strategic thinker with a passion for brand storytelling and local market engagement.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with local partners and stakeholdersPay Transparency : Min $145k- $155k
