Location :

This position is a hybrid position located in Chicago, IL. You will be required to work onsite in our Chicago, IL office 3 days a week.

What will you be doing?

Circana is looking for professional and sharp analytic minds to execute, analyze, and present findings to our Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) client’s brand and consumer insights teams. Use your energy and motivation to evaluate data, find key insights, and recommend action steps to directly impact strategies and decisions for our clients.

Client Insights Analysts at Circana possess and execute four key skill sets :

  • Analytic Capability : Use a systematic approach to solving problems that involve breaking them into smaller pieces, tracking the implications of situations, generating multiple alternatives, and making comparisons of potential solutions before taking action.
  • Quality Control : Drive to achieve high-quality results through effective data integrity.
  • Planning and Organizing : Determine effort and resources required to meet objectives; able to plan, coordinate, and manage resources effectively to ensure task completion.
  • Client Focus : Consistently act with client satisfaction in mind and follow through on commitments to ensure the needs of the client are met.

Job Responsibilities

  • Drive the relationship with the Client’s brand and consumer insights teams. Gain their trust and build credibility.
  • Learn the Client’s strategic priorities and lean in with appropriate Circana data
  • Build key reports that answer the Client’s asks; tell a story of marketplace dynamics & key drivers of category / brand performance
  • Become an expert with Circana solutions to teach and support the Client
  • Demonstrate curiosity with the Client’s business, dig deeper into what they are asking for
  • Overdeliver on Client expectations – push the boundaries of what is expected
  • Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with syndicated data, analytics, category management, or related fields
  • Marketing and / or sales with a premier Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) company or other companies using syndicated or point-of-sale (POS) data
  • Demonstrated expertise in translating data and analysis into relevant implications
  • Experience with syndicated data
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work independently and in small group environments
  • Able to engage in a consultative manner with clients when helping solve / manage content deliverables

  • The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The salary range for this role is $47K to $85K.

    We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical / dental / vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
