Job description

Primary Skills : SQL(Expert), Python(Advanced), AWS(Advanced), ETL (Advanced), database design (Proficient)

Contract Type : W2

Duration : 12 Months with Possible Extension

Location : Redmond, WA (Onsite)

Pay Range : $75.00 - $82.00 Per hour on W2

  • Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Job Summary :

Seeking a Data Engineer III to help aggregate, organize, and transform this test data into structured, consumable formats for further analysis and decision-making. Experience in AWS infrastructure, including AWS databases and data mining techniques, who can help optimize the flow and analysis of this data.

Skills

  • Design and implement data pipelines to process large volumes of hardware test data.
  • Create and manage data schemas tailored to the unique characteristics of laser communication testing.
  • Perform discrete data analysis to extract actionable insights from raw datasets.
  • Optimize data storage and access for performance and scalability using AWS services.

    • Required Skills & Experience :

  • Strong expertise in AWS infrastructure , particularly :
  • AWS Databases
  • Athena
  • DynamoDB
  • Understanding of data pipeline
  • Data Manipulation experience
  • Being able to propose and implement solutions
  • Experience in data mining and performance optimization.
  • Proven ability to design and implement custom data schemas for new datasets.
  • Familiarity with Python and Pandas , as these are the primary tools currently used by the team.
  • Experience with discrete data analysis in engineering or scientific contexts is highly desirable.
