Head of Vehicle Engineering at Pebble. Location : Fremont, CA.

Role Summary

We are seeking a seasoned executive to lead Pebble’s vehicle engineering team. As the Head of Vehicle Engineering, you will be a key driving force behind the development of our pioneering vehicles, from concept to serial production. You will lead a talented team of engineers and collaborate closely with cross-functional leaders in Design, Marketing, Operations, and Software to ensure a holistic approach to vehicle development. In addition to overseeing engineering, integration, and validation processes, you will also play a pivotal role in shaping the company\'s future product vision and roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end automotive vehicle engineering development, from initial concept to serial production. Overseeing vehicle engineering across mechanical, thermal, electrical, integration and validation.
• Establish and execute a clear and ambitious engineering strategy in alignment with Pebble\'s overall goals and objectives.
• Collaborate closely with leaders from various departments to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to product development.
• Provide technical leadership across all aspects of vehicle engineering, from exterior, body, chassis, trim, closure, lighting to interior.
• Execute with engineering excellence. Maintain a strong focus on product quality, safety, and cost.
• Manage supplier relationships and escalations. Drive on-time and quality execution.
• Develop and communicate product roadmaps that guide the company\'s long-term growth and innovation.
• Build a world-class engineering team. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
• Manage the departmental budget effectively, optimizing resource allocation to meet project goals.
• Establish appropriate engineering processes and optimize for efficiency.
