Job Description:
As a Bilingual Patient Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for patients at the Wilmington clinic. You'll provide front-desk support including greeting patients, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and translating for Spanish-speaking clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients with professionalism and empathy
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
- Verify insurance and collect necessary documentation
- Provide Spanish-English interpretation as needed
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate patient records
Qualifications:
- Medical reception, registration, or admitting experience required
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Strong understanding of the organization's mission and commitment to community care
- Must pass a drug screen (including marijuana; valid medical cards accepted), background check, and provide education verification
Additional Details:
- Type: Direct Hire
- Start Dates: June 9th or June 23rd (following 2 weeks of compliance)
- Work Hours: MondayFriday, standard business hours
- Late shift rotation on Mondays (clinic open until 8 PM; OT eligible)
- Occasional Saturday rotation (9 AM 1 PM)
- Reporting To: Office Manager
- Transportation: Car preferred; public transit may be feasible if local
