Essential Functions
- Demonstrates successful technical and patient skills by implementing new and existing protocols and standards into the area of Computer Tomography.
- Demonstrates strong administrative skills by contributing to the successful operation of the department.
- Collaborates effectively with co-workers in a timely manner while displaying a positive attitude.
- Initiates and maintains a positive level of communication with patients and customers.
- Technologist has successfully passed the CT registry and is currently certified in the area of Computer Tomography.
- Take responsibility for self-development / displays commitment to the mission, vision and values of the organization and supports a learning environment.
- Adheres to hospital CT safety standards.
- Provides age-specific care to patients from neonates through geriatrics.
- Provides mentorship to and / or precept Jr staff and students.
- Participates in committees and / or projects as needed.
- Participate in regulatory activities as needed.

Work Experience
2+ years Experience as registered CT tech Required
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Uses a variety of equipment specific to the area, including CT scanners, power injectors, and various computers. Required
- Used to send and obtain patient information for care. Required
- Ability to perform procedures specific to area. Required
Licenses and Certifications
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Required and
- Registered Technologist Radiography (ARRT-R) and Current Ohio license. Required
