Senior Sales Manager, AI
Blackbaud is seeking a dynamic, entrepreneurial, and visionary Senior Sales Manager, AI, to launch and lead our new AI sales team. This leader will be responsible for developing and executing a go-to-market strategy for our agentic AI agent product within the RE NXT platform, building and managing a team of five high-performing account executives, and driving rapid growth in a fast-paced, startup-like environment. The ideal candidate will bring a hands-on, innovative approach and a passion for scaling new business lines. Build and Lead a High-Performing Sales Team
- Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop a team of five account executives with a focus on agility, collaboration, and results.
- Foster a startup mentalityencouraging experimentation, rapid iteration, and a bias for action.
- Set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and create a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Develop and Execute Go-to-Market Strategy
Define and implement a comprehensive go-to-market plan for the AI agent product, including market segmentation, value proposition, and sales process.Identify and prioritize target customer segments, develop tailored messaging, and drive pipeline generation.Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure alignment and maximize impact.Drive Sales Performance and Revenue Growth
Own and deliver on ambitious sales targets, forecasting, and pipeline management.Monitor team and individual performance metrics, using data to drive decisions and optimize results.Serve as a hands-on leaderactively participating in key deals, customer meetings, and negotiations.Champion Customer Engagement and Success
Act as an executive sponsor for strategic opportunities, building trusted relationships with key customers and stakeholders.Gather and relay customer feedback to inform product development and innovation.Ensure a seamless handoff from sales to implementation and ongoing customer success.Stay Ahead of Market Trends
Maintain deep knowledge of AI technologies, industry trends, and the competitive landscape.Identify new opportunities for growth and differentiation in the market.What You'll Have :
10+ years of enterprise SaaS sales experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.Proven track record of building and scaling high-performing sales teams, ideally in a startup or high-growth environment.Experience developing and executing go-to-market strategies for new products or business lines.Deep understanding of AI technologies and their application in enterprise and / or social good sectors.Strong executive presence, communication, and influencing skills.Analytical, data-driven approach to sales management.Experience working cross-functionally in a matrixed organization.Entrepreneurial mindsetcomfortable with ambiguity, change, and rapid growth.Passion for social impact and alignment with Blackbaud's mission.The starting base salary and annual proposed commission is $183,300.00 to $249,600.00. Blackbaud may pay more or less based on employee qualifications, market value, sales quota, Company finances, and other operational considerations.
