This leader is a key contributor to the organization's vision for maintaining a robust credit risk framework, balancing innovation with regulatory expectations, and ensuring operational resilience. The individual will serve as a strategic partner to senior business and technology leaders, providing oversight for multi-million-dollar investments that impact credit risk management capabilities and overall business performance. Educational Background : Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees (MBA, MS) and certifications in project management or risk management are preferred.
Experience & Leadership : 15+ years of experience in program management, with a strong focus on credit risk, technology, and regulatory compliance in financial services. Proven track record of managing large, complex portfolios of technology programs, including strategic investments and regulatory-driven projects. Experience leading teams of project managers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance.
Credit Risk & Regulatory Expertise : Deep understanding of credit risk management principles, regulatory requirements (including Consent Orders), and technology solutions that support credit risk functions. Experience managing Consent Order remediation and other regulatory-driven initiatives, ensuring successful delivery and compliance with all mandates.
Technology & Financial Acumen : Strong technical knowledge of credit risk technology solutions, including data management, rules engines, and systems integration. Proven ability to manage large budgets, optimize resource allocation, and drive value realization from technology investments.
Stakeholder Management & Communication : Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging with senior executives and external regulatory bodies. Strong leadership presence, with the ability to drive strategic discussions, influence decision-making, and align diverse teams around common goals.
Analytical & Strategic Thinking : Highly analytical mindset, with the ability to leverage data and metrics to drive decision-making and continuously improve program outcomes. Strategic thinker who can balance long-term technology innovation with immediate regulatory and business needs.
