Senior AI Solutions Architect

Leading the design and implementation of enterprise AI solutions, the full-time Senior AI Solutions Architect will work remotely to support the Department of Veterans Affairs by establishing scalable and secure AI architectures, ensuring compliance with federal standards, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Key responsibilities: Lead the architecture and design of AI solutions utilizing Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) Define solution architecture, data flows, and integration patterns while ensuring compliance with healthcare interoperability standards Serve as the technical leader for AI architecture, mentoring software engineers and producing architecture documentation Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience 10+ years of experience designing enterprise software solutions, with 5+ years in cloud-native architectures utilizing AWS Demonstrated experience in architecting AI, Machine Learning, or Generative AI solutions Experience implementing enterprise applications utilizing Amazon Bedrock or similar AI platforms Strong understanding of healthcare interoperability standards including FHIR, HL7, and CCD
