Duties : Manages multiple small sized research and analytics projects that support the business area or category. Works with leadership business partners to discuss and understand goals functional objectives and key business challenges. Develops hypotheses around current and future business issues identifies functional analytics and research objectives and develops tactical research plans. Provides guidance to Directors and advises on next steps based on insights objectives and research. Presents actionable recommendations to Directors to inform strategic and tactical functional initiatives. Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with leadership and other key stakeholders. Develops and reviews problem solving methodology and hypotheses. Defines and communicates problem statement to internal team and third party vendors. Reviews data sets to be utilized for analyses. Develops and collates data sets based on determined research methodology. Performs complex research and data analysis. Addresses complex business problems by applying advanced research or analytical methods to inform functional decision making. Collaborates with internal teams to develop data sets or models for outsourced projects. Interprets and analyzes information from multiple sources using advanced methodologies to identify solutions to business challenges. Reviews detailed analytical results provided by internal teams and provides feedback and manages the iterative process. Develops reports executive presentations incorporating key findings across workstreams for multiple small projects. Collaborates with functional leadership and cross functional teams to develop consultative solutions for multiple small projects. Interfaces with external business partners and vendors. Maintains team motivation and engagement. Coordinates completes and oversees job related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs identifying and communicating goals and objectives building accountability for and measuring progress in achieving results identifying and addressing improvement opportunities and demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning. This position does not supervise employees.
Minimum education and experience required : Master's degree or the equivalent in Business Administration, Engineering Management, or related field; OR Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Business Administration, Engineering Management, or related field and 2 years of experience in marketing research, data analytics, consulting, or related field.
Skills required : Experience using programming languages to query large datasets and make data-driven business decisions (SQL). Experience designing dashboards and deriving insights using data visualization software (Tableau, Qlik, Google Charts). Experience creating and maintaining documentation and collaborating utilizing project management tools (Confluence and Microsoft SharePoint). Experience managing and tracking tasks across teams using content workflow software, including Atlassian JIRA. Experience using scalable cloud solutions to optimize data workflows (Google Cloud Computing Services). Experience executing statistical modeling and regression analysis to derive insights and forecast trends. Experience using data collection methods to design and analyze survey data (Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey, Google Forms). Experience developing and managing data analysis processes and machine learning models (Dataiku). Experience querying and supporting scalable data processing using data warehouse systems (Apache Hive, BigQuery). Experience creating presentations to support strategic decision making (Microsoft PowerPoint, ThinkCell). Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
Salary Range : $109,491 / year to $186,000 / year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include : Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
