American Traveler is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a travel job in Flagstaff, Arizona.

Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of acute care experience for a multidisciplinary clinic in Arizona, AZ license required.

Responsibilities

  • Work in an acute care hospital setting with a multidisciplinary clinic including OT, PT, and SLP services
  • Day shift, Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM
  • Daily caseload is 8-11 patients
  • No weekends, on-call, or floating to other facilities required
  • Cerner charting system is used
  • Business casual attire is required
  • Work closely with a team of OT, PT, SLP, orthopedics, neurology, and primary care providers
  • Modules and orientation are completed during the first week
  • Free parking is provided on site
  • First-time travelers are accepted
  • Return candidates must have not been employed by the organization within the previous 12 months
  • RTO requests must be approved by the facility, with no time off allowed during the first week of assignment
  • Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays if assignment period includes holidays
  • Two professional references are required prior to start, one must be from the most recent employer

    • Requirements

  • Active AZ Occupational Therapist license required
  • BLS certification required
  • AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card required
  • Minimum 1 year of acute care experience
  • Hand Therapy Certification highly preferred
  • Cerner EMR experience preferred
  • License required if applicable
