Job Title : Senior Manager, Manufacturing OperationsJob ID : 10371Job Location : On Site, Daytona Beach, FLJob Schedule : 9 / 80, Employees work 9 out of every 14 days totaling 80 hours worked and have every other Friday off Job Description : The Aerojet Rocketdyne Segment of L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Senior Manager, Manufacturing Operations to join our growing additive manufacturing team at our Daytona Beach, FL site.

This is an on site position (not hybrid or remote), reporting directly to the Site Director. The selected individual will develop strategies and manage the execution of production activities.

The selected individual will be responsible for our Daytona Beach operations facility, ensuring proper planning and allocation of labor resources, driving productivity through continuous improvement while ensuring safety and quality.

This position will report on key operational metrics such as on-time delivery, OEE and inventory levels. The successful individual will grow the culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence and pride of producing high quality metal additively manufactured products on-time.

Essential Functions : Create and execute strategic plans to optimize schedule, personnel, material and equipment to ensure that production goals are met.

Utilize lean manufacturing tools to orchestrate production line activities. Ensure facilities are clean and maintained to support operations through 5S culture.

Day to day oversight of 5 person production team currently working 1st shift Monday through Friday with plans near term expansion plans to cover Monday through Sunday 1st shift and grow to a team of 10.

Daily coordination with Engineering and Maintenance to support production operations. Establish and maintain a variety of KPIs and reports to monitor internal operating controls.

Clearly communicate targets and action plans to the team and drive to success. Respond to issues that arise on the shop floor.

Qualifications : Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 12 years of prior related manufacturing operations experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 10 years of prior related manufacturing operations experience.

In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related manufacturing operatons experience.Must have prior supervisory and administrative skills including the ability to select, appraise, motivate and develop subordinates.

Requires ability to optimize a manufacturing environment with process equipment, specialty tooling and facility maintenance.

Demonstrated abilities to plan, prioritize and delegate work assignments, including ability to define, implement and execute standard work.

Requireres knowledge and ability to supervise / manage large multi-functional manufacturing operations.Requires knowledge of design practices, manufacturing techniques and inspection requirements as they relate to the production floor.

Preferred Additional Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication across all levels and functions; including the ability to present to senior-level executives.

Ability to provide effective direction, leadership and team building.Familiarity with EHS practices in a manufacturing environment.

Ability to utilize MS Office tools including Outlook, Powerpoint, Word and Excel.
