Jewelry Television – Social Media Internship

Jewelry Television is currently seeking applicants for our Social Media Internship program. If you are currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, or a recent graduate, and are actively seeking a summer internship that would allow you to gain critical job experience in your chosen field of study, then Jewelry Television encourages you to apply for our Social Media Internship program!

Internship Tasks :

• Maintain calendars for platforms as assigned (any of the following : Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter / X, TikTok for any of the following brands : JTV, Jedora, Judith Ripka, Jewel School, Gemstones)
• Schedule all approved content on your assigned platform (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter / X or TikTok)
• Create stories for Instagram as assigned
• Complete weekly and monthly analytics document (along with other interns)
• Stay current on platform updates, share information with team
• Attend webinars as it pertains to furthering knowledge of social media
• Assist in pulling jewelry for content for social accounts, influencer campaigns, etc.
• Sort and return jewelry
• Help measure the effectiveness of social media campaigns by creating assessments after campaign ends
• Assist in executing details of large company campaigns (ex : attending meetings, working with different teams to coordinate details, schedule content, etc.)
• Come up with and help execute new ideas of how to continue to improve JTV’s social presence
• Assist in executing any giveaways on JTV’s social platforms scheduling content, contacting winner(s), mailing prize(s)
• Assist with influencer campaigns speaking with influencers, researching / pulling / shipping product
• Assist with paid campaigns as assigned

Requirements

• Intern is expected to work a minimum of 25 hours, or a max of 40 hours per week
• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
• Hardworking with a drive to succeed
• Experience using social media for business
• Willingness to learn and innovate in a corporate environment
• Proven verbal and written communication skills
• Exceptional time management skills
