Job Title : Accountant I

Job Location : Santa Monica, CA 90404

100% Onsite role (5 days / week onsite)

Job Type : Contract, 12 months contract

Pay Rate : $40 - $45 / Hour

Overview :

• Maintains one or a combination of general accounting processes and systems.
• Responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of journal entries (with appropriate supporting documentation) for the month end close and accounting transactions.
• Maintains, reconciles and resolves P&L and balance sheet ledger accounts.
• Responsible for preparing analysis and schedules for local management as well as internal and external auditors. May be responsible for the maintenance of general accounting subsystems.
• Identifies problems which may arise within COGS, Inventory & Manufacturing and works cross functionally to help resolve.
• Experience in Oracle R12 preferred, experience with Blackline and SAP S4 Hana a plus.
• May assist in data extraction and analysis for ongoing SAP implementation project, as well as ad-hoc requests related to product costing and variance analysis (PPV, MUV, LUV, etc)
