Our client, a specialty chemicals manufacturer, is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead all EHS initiatives across its operations. In this role, youll be responsible for developing and implementing programs that ensure regulatory compliance, reduce risk, and maintain a strong culture of safety across the organizations manufacturing and warehouse environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all Environmental, Health & Safety initiatives across the site, ensuring alignment with company and regulatory standards
• Develop, implement, and manage safety programs and policies to minimize risk and maintain compliance with federal, state, and local EHS regulations
• Oversee investigations of incidents, near-misses, and hazardous conditions, ensuring corrective actions and continuous improvement
• Coordinate emergency response planning, training programs, and regular safety drills
• Chair Safety Committee meetings and drive communication and accountability across departments
• Support annual budgeting and capital expenditure planning for EHS-related projects
• Maintain documentation, reporting, and audit readiness for internal and external reviews

Ideal Candidate Profile

This position is based on-site in Meriden, CT, with periodic flexibility to work remotely as projects allow.
