Senior Business Development Executive - Facility Services

Compensation : Base Salary : $100K-$130K + commission, $800 car allowance & toll coverage

Location : Hybrid Role - Redwood City, CA

Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Senior Business Development Executive (SBDE) and play a crucial role in driving business growth in facility services across the Bay Area. This position is perfect for an experienced sales professional passionate about developing lasting relationships and closing significant deals. The SBDE will be responsible for managing the complete sales cycle, from identifying prospects and crafting tailored proposals to negotiating contracts and securing multimillion-dollar agreements. You will have the autonomy to shape your strategy while contributing to measurable success in a competitive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement an effective sales strategy to acquire new business in facility maintenance and janitorial services.
  • Proactively generate leads through cold calls, networking, and engaging with industry associations.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with commercial real estate firms, property management companies, and corporate entities.
  • Design, price, and present persuasive sales proposals tailored to the unique needs of clients.
  • Successfully close large-scale service contracts, including multimillion-dollar agreements, and consistently meet or exceed revenue goals.
  • Represent the company at key industry events like BOMA, IFMA, IREM, and CREW to enhance visibility and forge valuable connections.
  • Collaborate closely with operations and leadership to ensure seamless onboarding and exceptional service delivery for clients.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of service sales experience, preferably in janitorial or facility maintenance sectors.
  • Proven ability to independently prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities.
  • Demonstrable success in closing multimillion-dollar deals.
  • Exceptional skills in proposal development and presentations.
  • A well-established network within the Bay Area's commercial real estate and property management sectors.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
  • Preferred Experience

  • In-depth knowledge of facility services, janitorial services, commercial real estate, or property management.
  • Experience in pricing labor and structuring competitive proposals.
  • Active involvement in BOMA, IFMA, IREM, or CREW is highly advantageous.
  • Familiarity with the geographical landscape of the Bay Area, particularly Redwood City, San Jose, Mountain View, and Sunnyvale.
