RAN Software Test Engineer - 5G NR / LTE Systems (Plano, TX)

We're seeking a Senior RAN System Engineer (Network QA Engineer III) to join our Wireless Network QA team in Plano, TX. In this role, you'll validate 4G / 5G RAN software, troubleshoot call processing issues, and ensure feature performance meets operator requirements. If you have deep 3GPP Layer 2 / 3 knowledge and vendor-side RAN experience (Samsung, Ericsson, or Nokia), this is an excellent opportunity to work hands-on with next-generation wireless technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Validate and test 4G / 5G RAN software features in lab and customer environments.
• Analyze network logs , troubleshoot integration and performance issues.
• Support software release validation , KPI reviews, and feature sign-offs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customer engineering groups.
• Prepare detailed technical reports and documentation for release approval.
