The posted compensation range of $33.47 - $37.54 / hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.

The incumbent is responsible for specimen procurement and dispatch. The incumbent is also responsible for department support in processing and microbiology. The incumbent may be assigned other relevant duties in support of the Laboratory.

Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.

Minimum Qualifications :

• One year of acute care experience (includes NICU, Pediatrics, Critical Care Patients) as a Phlebotomist; may consider candidates with less experience if no qualified applicants apply.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of CA state approved phlebotomy license program.
• Must have a current CPT1 License.
• BLS through an American Heart Association provider
• Typing, organizational skills, knowledge of computers, ability to accurately enter data, follow policy and procedure, ability to remain calm and function efficiently during difficult or emergency situations.
