Job description

HR Generalist

We are seeking a skilled HR Generalist to support a fast-paced, growing organization. This individual will act as a key HR contact, managing day-to-day human resources functions including employee relations, onboarding, benefits support, and compliance. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable conducting offsite orientations and trainings.

Location : Charlotte, NC

Compensation : $31.54 $37.73 / hour (equivalent to $65,603$78,478 annually)

Benefits : This position is eligible for full benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Qualifications :

  • 35 years of HR experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Dependable and trustworthy
  • Ability to work independently and travel offsite for training / orientations
  • Prior experience within the healthcare industry preferred

Industry : Healthcare

Work Schedule : Fully onsite, 8 : 00 AM 5 : 00 PM (with flexibility if needed)

Key Responsibilities :

  • Serve as a key HR point of contact for assigned departments, providing daily HR and employee relations support
  • Coordinate and manage pre-employment screenings, background checks, and onboarding documentation
  • Conduct new hire orientations and offsite training sessions to ensure consistent communication of company culture and compliance standards
  • Support benefits administration, leave management, and performance review processes
  • Partner with leadership on employee relations matters, escalating as needed
  • Assist with engagement initiatives, retention efforts, and policy implementation
  • Maintain employee files, ensuring HR data accuracy and compliance with employment laws
  • Participate in HR projects, audits, and process improvements
