Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service : Provide prompt and professional support to customers regarding LTL shipments, resolving issues effectively.
• Rate Quotes & Shopping Rates : Obtain competitive freight rates by comparing carrier pricing and service levels.
• LTL Carrier Coordination : Establish and maintain strong working relationships with LTL carriers to optimize service and costs.
• Freight Scheduling : Plan, schedule, and dispatch shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
• Tracking & Tracing Freight : Monitor shipments, provide updates to customers, and address any transit issues proactively.
• Filing Claims : Process and track freight claims, ensuring proper documentation and resolution.
• Data Entry : Maintain accurate shipment details, carrier information, and customer records in company systems.
• Customer Relationship Management : Develop and nurture relationships with existing customers to foster repeat business.
• Cold Calling New Customers : Conduct outbound calls to generate new business opportunities and expand customer base.
• All Other Duties as Assigned : Support additional logistics functions as needed to ensure operational efficiency.
