You will join a diverse team comprising software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, and operations managers. As part of our team, you'll be responsible for :
- Conducting comprehensive site assessments for colocation data centers and telecommunications facilities.
- Reviewing vendor infrastructure designs and performing risk analyses to ensure alignment with AWS service needs.
- Conducting design and equipment submittal reviews for new Data Centers.
- Troubleshooting issues and performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA), creating Corrective Action (CA) documentation.
- Providing on-the-ground support for operational challenges, including complex reviews and training sessions.
- Leading design initiatives for data center upgrades focusing on increasing capacity, availability, and efficiency.
- Collaborating with internal teams to establish and uphold standards for reliability and consistency in service delivery.
- Managing multiple concurrent projects across different geographical areas.
- Conducting engineering site audits for both owned and colocation data centers.
- Acting as the resident engineer during new construction projects, overseeing construction, commissioning, and transition phases.

Basic Qualifications
4+ years of experience in industrial or commercial engineering within mission-critical facilities such as data centers, power generation, or oil and gas.4+ years of commissioning experience.Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.Experience in researching new designs, technologies, and construction methods for data center equipment and facilities.Preferred Qualifications
Professional Engineer License.Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.Experience guiding design concepts from exploration through to deployment or mass production.Adeptness in reading, interpreting, and creating construction drawings and specifications.Amazon champions diverse teams and perspectives. Our compensation reflects market variations across the U.S., with salaries ranging from $105,100 to $185,000, depending on your geographic location and relevant experience. We also offer a comprehensive total compensation package, including benefits, equity options, and sign-on bonuses.
