The Inside Sales Representative role is a telephonic inbound / outbound sales role that is responsible for generating revenue and / or profit margin in small to mid-sized accounts for Wolters Kluwer TeamMate.

Limited field activity may occur, but only on an infrequent basis. Responsible for learning sales techniques and reporting daily or weekly activity to the Inside Sales Lead and / or Manager.

Responsibilities :

  • Achieve direct selling objectives by leveraging product and industry knowledge to sell software solutions and professional services through cold calling and other direct lead generation activities
  • Conduct inbound / outbound sales call to generate revenue and / or profit margin in small to mid-sized accounts
  • Work with existing client accounts to generate add-on sales, increase product penetration and provide account management
  • Work in partnership with sales management, account managers and marketing to achieve / exceed total sales objectives
  • Develop and maintain a sales pipeline of opportunities to achieve lead generation objectives through outreach to potential clients for sales and marketing purposes (e.

g., Marketing provided leads / lists, cold calls, emails, off lists, etc.)

  • Appropriately log, document, and update all sales activities within Salesforce, and other required systems, in a compliant, detailed and timely manner.
  • Learn and maintain a deep understanding of Wolters Kluwer TeamMate solutions, customers, and the Internal Audit industry, as a whole, by participating in formal / informal training sessions and self-directed learning;

maintain a knowledgebase of all processes, systems, and applications utilized within the department.

Qualify and close prospective new / existing customers by developing an understanding of customer business needs and risk and compliance challenges;

leverage knowledge of software and integrated solutions to identify sales opportunities; demonstrate product solutions via Microsoft Live Meeting and / or other web AG1 based applications.

  • Participate in day-to-day organizational and team activities, and / or special projects, which will help drive efficiency, in order to improve revenue and profitability for TeamMate.
  • Effectively represent Wolters Kluwer within the industry and at trade shows / conferences, as required, by developing and maintaining comprehensive knowledge of Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting products, industry trends, and general business and financial acumen through various sources and initiatives.
  • Effectively collaborate with team members and management to improve processes and drive revenue / customer growth for the Americas Sales Region.
  • Appropriately address / escalate any / all discovered circumstances of potential risk, to management or to the customer, and / or customer dissatisfaction with a sense of urgency

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college / university or equivalent work experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM preferred

Education :

Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related Field OR Equivalent

Experience :

Minimum Experience : Minimum 2 years of inside / telephonic sales, customer service and / or telemarketing

Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
