In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and resolving insurance claim denials to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the revenue cycle, payer-specific denial codes, and a proven ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced billing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesReview and process denied insurance claims, identifying root causes and determining appropriate corrective actions.Categorize and document denial reasons accurately using internal systems and payer correspondence.Prepare and submit appeals with appropriate supporting documentation in accordance with payer guidelines.Monitor and follow up on outstanding denials and appeal statuses to ensure timely resolution.Collaborate with internal billing and coding teams to prevent recurring denials and improve first-pass claim acceptance.Maintain detailed records of all actions taken on denied claims and ensure compliance with HIPAA and industry regulations.Stay current on payer policies, coding updates, and regulatory changes affecting reimbursement.
