Dental Insurance Biller / Treatment Coordinator – San Francisco, CA (94123)

Location : Marina District / Pacific Heights

Pay : $33–$45 / hr (based on experience and benefits selected)

Schedule :

Monday : 10 AM – 7 PM
Tuesday : 7 AM – 4 PM
Wednesday : 10 AM – 7 PM or 9 AM – 6 PM (your choice)
Thursday : 10 AM – 7 PM
Friday : 7 AM – 4 PM

We’re looking for an experienced Dental Insurance Biller / Treatment Coordinator to join our fantastic, family-oriented dental team in the Marina District / Pacific Heights area of San Francisco. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys blending precision with patient connection—helping patients understand their treatment and managing the financial and insurance side with confidence and care.

What We’re Looking For

Our ideal candidate is a dependable, detail-driven professional with strong billing and treatment presentation experience. You should be comfortable multitasking, communicating clearly, and working as part of a collaborative, high-performing team. A professional demeanor and commitment to confidentiality are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Manage insurance billing, claim submission, and payment posting

Verify and update insurance benefits; handle appeals and EOBs

Present treatment plans, including full-mouth restorations and complex cases

Discuss financial options and assist patients with third-party financing

Support patient consultations and educate patients on the value of treatment

Maintain detailed and accurate patient records

Provide excellent customer service and front office support

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of dental billing and / or treatment coordinating experience

Strong knowledge of PPO plans and large case presentations

College educated (preferred)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Professional, organized, self-motivated, and sales-minded
